    1. Abercrombie House Abercrombie House was built by James Stewart (c. 1870s). The 40 room historic mansion was originally the home of the Stewart family - Bathurst pioneers. It is now the home of the Morgan family who bought it in 1969 and have spent almost thirty years on a program of restoration and redecoration.
    2. Australian Fossil and Mineral Museum Billions of years in the making, this world class museum allows you to explore the natural history of our planet. In our unique fossil and mineral galleries you can travel through time, experiencing the wonder of ancient specimens that have been uncovered from deep within the earth!
    3. Bathurst Regional Art Gallery Bathurst Regional Art Gallery (BRAG) is one of the oldest regional galleries in New South Wales. It is a well equipped and professionally staffed facility owned and operated by Bathurst Regional Council. Home to one some of the finest collection of Lloyd Rees artworks in regional New South Wales.
    4. Chifley Home Chifley Home is a monument to Ben Chifley who was known as 'the man of the people'. The house reveals the domestic life of a person who rose; from humble beginnings as an engine driver on the NSW Railways to the nation's most important political office during the critical period of post-World War II reconstruction. He represents the 'Aussie Battler' and the will to succeed.

    1. Bathurst District Historical Museum Overflowing with historical artefact the museum is also home to Bathurst Archives, which has extensive family history records, which are available for a small search and printing fee.
    2. Denison Bridge Marvell at the technological achievements of the 1870's as you view the Denison Bridge. The Bridge is the second oldest metal truss bridge remaining in New South Wales. Spaning the Macquarie River at Kelso, the bridge is now decorated with flags denoting events celebrated in the town.

    1. Alabar Bathurst Gold Crown Carnival The Alabar Bathurst Cold Crown Carnival is an annual event on the harness racing industry calendar, attracting owners, trainers, horses and drivers from Australia and New Zealand.
    2. Bathurst Edgell Jog At the Bathurst Edgell Jog, join the biggest fun run in country New South Wales - an eight kilometre fun run and walk.
    3. Life in a 1940s house It's a time of wartime rationing, listening to the wireless, and billycart racing! Come and experience everyday life in the 1940s at Chifley Home. The day will include children's activities, special guided tours of the house, war-time refreshments and a special edition of a 1940s newspaper to take home. There will also be the Carillon Show Band performing popular 'tunes' form the period.

    4. Proclamation Day Celebrate Bathurst’s birthday at the Proclamation Day activities. This will be held in Macquarie River Bicentennial Park. There will be food and activities for the kids, including a re-enactment of the Proclamation of Bathurst and free birthday cake.
    5. Scots School Highland Gathering and Country Fair The annual Highland Gathering combines all the fun of a school fair with all things Scottish. Pipe Bands from all over New South Wales take part in a program of music and marching together with a competition of Highland Dancing.     1. B2B Blayney to Bathurst Charity Participation B2B is the Blayney to Bathurst charity bicycling event run by the Rotary Club of Bathurst Daybreak and Cycling Australia. The event covers a short track of 56 kilometres and long track of 110 kilometres with certificates and awards for all finishers. This participation event is directed at all ages and is a wonderful opportunity for the enjoyment of friendly bicycling activities through the quiet rural roads of the Blayney and Bathurst district.
    2. Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 - V8 Supercar Championship Series This is one of the greatest events in the history of Australian Motorsport. It’s not just a race, it’s a pilgrimage, a legendary event that should be experienced by all. October 8 to 11 is when Mount Panorama comes alive with the spectacular V8 Supercar Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000.
